  • Beskrivelse: The Sokol Gathering guests are coming by cars to Žofín. Sokol members coming from different countries are marching in a ceremony parade; they are being welcomed by people looking down at them from the windows. Crowds of people are standing in front of the stadium gate and the dressing rooms. Group exercises of juniors start, some spectators are promenading around the stadium. Exercises of girls - juniors start, followed by group exercises of the Russians, female Russian Sokol members (exercises with snow balls), female American gymnasts, French gymnasts (exercises on rings), climbing without crossed-leg grip, exercises of women on asymmetrical bars, exercises of men on parallel bars, on rings, on horizontal bars, on a life horse, wrestling, 60-meter run, pole vaulting. On the stadium sides you can see inscriptions: "Let us Hold our Ground", "Every Czech a Sokol Member", "Let's Take Exercise!", "Let's blow off Steam, "All for One and One for All".
